In the distant past I have aquired boards of 'BAT' tubes (mostly Mullard) 
which came from Avery Scales which had a readout 'both sides' - one for the 
customer and one for the counter staff - I have no idea of date though.
That being said, i can find no evidence whatsoever that Avery ever made 
such a thing :-(
