Hello. >From the item description those displays should be SP-324 and SP-325. The shape matches this page https://digital.sciencehistory.org/works/7p88cg81j but not the size.
I have converted a similar unit that uses Minitrons (Collins DME receiver, see picture) and the panel side is 8.6 cm (3.4 in, the long side of a credit card). According to sizes of displays mentioned in the above page, something doesn't match. If you can find a complete unit to convert into a clock it makes a wonderful present to any aviation enthusiat. My DME receiver has a two positions switch, a potentiometer and a push button: these are enough to create a clock that can be adjusted, tells time/date/temperature (button press) and dimmed. All without drilling a single hole :) Paolo On Mon, Jun 16, 2025 at 9:39 PM Nicholas Stock <[email protected]> wrote: > If someone on the list does buy these, please share the part numbers... > I'm not familiar with panaplex 5-digit displays or TBH, the 4-digit ones in > this unit... > > Cheers, > > Nick > > On Mon, Jun 16, 2025 at 10:35 AM J Forbes <[email protected]> wrote: > >> those displays would make a wonder watch!
