For kits that are only a few decades in value, so you'd need to buy several kits for the whole range. No way I'm spending over *$1K* on resistors lol. Which means I'd have to buy small qtys of each value I need - and would still end up costing $$$ for just a kit of 1/4 or 1/2 watt resistors.
