I second that motion. This is a real concern with consoles that have
motherboards (like the Series-II) and most other consoles because of the
inevitable flexing of the frame when the desk is moved (not to mention
that with say, an SSL or a Neve V series, the modules add hundreds of
pounds to the frame). With an Elite, Elan, Espirit, Etc. the concern is
more with breaking knobs off and so on as you go through doors, since
the modules are connected with flexible ribbon cables.
