Depending on circumstances and the gear you have, you could make some 'passive summers' (basically a few resistors plus whatever connectors are necessary to make it convenient). Assuming you have independent control of the various 'source' signals then you can 'sum' them together and feed that into a desk channel input. These 'summers' can have from 2 up to as many channels as you want although I would suggest making say 4 or 5 little boxes each with the capability of summing up to 4 channels then just use them as you see fit for your application. a morning spent drilling the necessary holes (jacks only need a round hole each) and solder in some resistors, say 10K Ohms from each input jack then a 200 Ohm resistor to 'terminate' it. See Gearslutz forums for endless discussions on the subject with all the angst of 'which value to use'. Bypass all this, get some 10K esistors and get them built and you will be rocking by lunchtime. You may well find these little 'summer' boxes useful later for other applications or you can pull the resistors out and put transformers in there to use for other things (hum isolation or 'audio colour'). All else fails use them to stop your table wobbling!
