Hello Jörg,

I find this project really interesting, you might be interested in having a look at the bibo ontology [1][2]:

"The Bibliographic Ontology describe bibliographic things on the semantic Web in RDF. This ontology can be used as a citation ontology, as a document classification ontology, or simply as a way to describe any kind of document in RDF. It has been inspired by many existing document description metadata formats, and can be used as a common ground for converting other bibliographic data sources."

It's used from several projects[3] (This [4] is probably the most interesting), so using the same ontology might be worth investigating.

Unfortunately some time ago I tried to import the ontology in Nepomuk, but without success due to the use of "owl:unionOf", I don't know if there was any progress, though.

Cheers,
 Daniele
