Because I'm talking about speed and performance the unnecessary parts don't bothers and don't affect to the performance of a DB. You can have a structure like SDO but if you don't use some parts it's not consuming resources, except a very little bit amount of memory and disk space not relevant in this particular case. Obviously I'm assuming a proper DBMS as a backend.
So, using the full specification don't bothers and you gain only one unified document to work and, on the other side, speedups and simplifications added in Tracker could be used in SDO, assuming the main structure is not altered.
