manually, but there are a few scripts that will do it for you.. I use a perlscript by Austin Gilbert called nessus-plugin-logger.pl. I run it in cron and it works really nice giving me an email every day of the new/updated Plugins.

Does Nessus autoupdate itself as far as vulnerabilty signatures/plug-ins or does that have to be done manually?
