I should add that this problem exists in nessus 1.2.4. -----Original Message----- From: Benninghoff, John Sent: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 9:36 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: nmap interface broken?
I'm having the same problem, on OpenBSD 3.1. Reverting to version 1.69 of nmap_wrapper.c fixed the problem for me. see: http://cvs.nessus.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/nessus-plugins/plugins/nmap_wrapper/nmap_wrapper.c You can download the "good" version here: http://cvs.nessus.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/nessus-plugins/plugins/nmap_wrapper/nmap_wrapper.c?rev=1.69&content-type=text/plain -----Original Message----- From: Michael Scheidell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 9:29 AM To: Michael Scheidell Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: nmap interface broken? EXCEPT.. there is some plugin that has marked nmap as a dependency and tries to run nmap_wrapper anyway... any idea how far back to go with nmap_wrapper() to fix it? Anyone else having a problem with this, running FBSD 4.5. -- Michael Scheidell, CEO SECNAP Network Security, LLC Sales: 866-SECNAPNET / (1-866-732-6276) Main: 561-368-9561 / www.secnap.net Looking for a career in Internet security? http://www.secnap.net/employment/ - [EMAIL PROTECTED]: general discussions about Nessus. * To unsubscribe, send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe nessus" in the body. - [EMAIL PROTECTED]: general discussions about Nessus. * To unsubscribe, send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe nessus" in the body.
