This is not necessarily a good answer.  Depending on the original poster's
circumstances, installing Linux on a dedicated system or dual boot may not
be an option for him, and it may not be within his realm of control.

You can buy VMWare, install it, and create a linux VM and run Nessus from
Windows via VMWare.  Again, dependning on this person's circumstances, this
may be viable or may not be.  If the rules (if any) he has to abide by do
not allow him the flexibility to install Linux or some other OS himself on a
dedicated system or allow dual boot configurations, this may be a legitimate
way for him to bypass those restrictions.  It is not a completely free
solution, though.  You would have to buy VMWare and possibly have to upgrade
memory/processor to get acceptable performance.  I believe that there are
some open source OS emulators that are fairly similar to VMWare but I don't
think they are up to the above mentioned task.  What is feasible really
depends on the specifics of this person's circumstances are.
