Just to confirm - I got same error yesterday - appeared after
nessus-update-plugins and also causes nessusd -D to fail with same message.
The problem seems to be with the plugin update. Running Mandrake 8.

Subject: Nessusd -D error question (Low priority) ....

Greetings all,

I'm received the following error on starting the nessusd daemon ...

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# nessusd -D
nessus-libraries/libnessus/store.c:
/usr/local/lib/nessus/plugins/http_w98_devname_dos.nasl has a too long
cve_id (148)
Error in plugin_unlink - args == NULL
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]#

I tried updating the nessus plugins, but still got the error. So I del'd
the specified .nasl and re-ran the plugin update. I did not get the error
any more. This was on a clean RH9 machine where I used the
nessus-installer.sh script downloaded on 7.23. Does anyone have any
thoughts, perhaps the initial pull of the files grabbed a bad copy of the
.nasl, or ... ?  I'm kinda confused ...

rick.
