Hello, I am a newbie and have started using nessus recently. There are two tabs : Preferences, and Plugins.
In prefernces: there are many options like brute force telnet , brute force ftp etc etc upto testig method : quick and dirty. In the Plugins : we have Gain shell remotely, Windows- User management etc.. I need to know how each of these options work ? How can I find out the differences between enabling and disabling each one of them. I need to have more information on "how to use nessus" Where can I find it ? Any url's ? Please help.
