Duh! :) Sometimes the simplest things are the easiest overlooked, eh?
Running nikto manually:
nikto.pl -h 10.0.0.5 -p 3128 -id guest:guest
It came back fairly quickly, albeit with a ton of false positives since
the squid server was returning TCP_DENIED/400 for most of the requests.
When run through nessusd, these would be the last few lines:
nessus_popen: running nikto.pl ...
fgets: EOF
set key SentData/10864/NOTE/1 -> 136245768
set key Success/10864 -> 1
set key /tmp/Success/10864 -> 1
Does this suggest that the the plugin finished and returned
successfully to the main nessusd loop? Thanks.
