In theory, NessusWX uses the option "--batch <session>" to launch scans from the commandline. Here, <session> refers to an existing NessusWX session which, as far as I know, must be created while running NessusWX interactively. In practice, though, no one seems to have been able to get batch mode working -- check the list archives.
