Dear list

This morning I have upgraded my Nessus installation on Debian GNU/Linux woody
2.4.20-1-686 with the usual "apt-get update && apt-get install nessus".

Afterwards I tried to run a test scan on the hosts in my network. As like in
[1] my Nessus client produces the some fork errors in /var/log/nessus/ - The
launch of all the plugins is not possible:

Here the version data of my installation:

woody:/home/maru# nessusd -v
nessusd (Nessus) 2.2.0 for Linux

Does anyone know what the problem may be? I have already checked the settings
in /etc/security/limits.conf and tried to run the Nessus daemon with the -P

Regards,

Marc Ruef
