OK, enough is enough.

I and many others, have sat here and watched this continual moaning carry on for days now.

$1200 - is that all? was my first thought...

Let me say this, if you have data or systems that need so badly to be protected by zero day patches and the like, then this my friends is a pretty cheap insurance policy.

I appreciate the well intended questions that have bought to light the finer details of the license but do we really need to keep flooding this list with, "it's not fair..."?

Do you think its fair that people should work their ass off for no money? Would you? I personally won't get out of bed unless there is a big wad of C notes waiting.

How many of you bought the Nessus book?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who did, but I probably bought it for different reasons. I don't need to know the whole deal with Nessus, but I thought that by buying the book, it might help generate a little cash for the team as a reward for their efforts. Even though the purpose that I use Nessus does not generate cash, when it does, I see it only fair to pass on some sort of remuneration for not only Renauds efforts but also the people at Tenable.

Seriously, if you think it is so unfair, no one is forcing you to use it. Constructive criticism is good, and questions expose flaws and reason.

Being rude is just not part of the deal.

I'll probably say what Renaud and the staff at Tenable won't.... Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, and if you still aint happy, lets see how good the scanner is that you write.
