If the following doesn't help, it would be helpful to see the other
errors as well as your system configuration (eg, version of Perl,
Archive::Tar, OS, etc).

Is this my update-nessus-plugins script? Mine doesn't use the extension
".pl" and makes use of the "-wT" options to perl, but it's possible
you've made some changes.

Where is chown on your system? Is it in a directory included in the PATH
defined in the script?
