This typically occurs because the scanner plugins failed to detect the targets as up. [Still, you might want to check your system logs and nessusd.messages to make sure something else isn't causing a problem.] So, with that in mind... What scanners are you using and how are they configured? Is there a firewall between you and the targets? Also, if you're only specifying port 80 in the port range, broaden it to ports you know are open on the targets; eg, ports 135 - 139.
