Hi Jill,
You can select either password or certificate based authentication during
the creation of users, I don't think -enable-unix-socket has anything to do
with that.
I've seen other people post who are using AIX so I'm pretty sure it works
even if Tenable does not support it.

Why don't you reconfigure nessus-core with "--enable-unix-socket"?
