One of the risks in running a network scan is how printers react to it. I have safe checks and plugin 11933, Do not scan printers, enabled but I still get reports of printers printing a page or two when scanned.
I checked on a report this morning and the plugin 11933 was triggered, but apparently a plugin still ran that caused the output. In all, the plugins that were included in the report are: 10264 Default community names of the SNMP Agent 11317 Discover HP JetDirect EWS Password via SNMP 10114 icmp timestamp request 10287 Traceroute 11933 Do not scan printers 12053 Host FQDN 19506 Information about the scan 11936 OS Identification 10330 Services 10551 Obtain network interfaces list via SNMP 10800 Obtain system info type via SNMP Any ideas as to the culprit?
