the Nessus port scanner? you mean the Syn scanner, the tcp scanner, the
netstat scanner, or something else? perhaps you are referring to the _nmap_
scanner. I'm guessing that is the case, and you can read about it (including
incorporate it back in) at

I have recently upgraded to Nessus 3.0.5 with NessusClient 1.0.2 running
on Fedora Core 5. I have noticed that there is no longer an option for the
Nessus port scanner under the General options. Has this legitimately been
removed?
