Doug,

I am actually referring to the nessus Syn and TCP scanners. They are no
longer showing as options for some reason.

the Nessus port scanner? you mean the Syn scanner, the tcp scanner, the
netstat scanner, or something else? perhaps you are referring to the _nmap_
scanner. I'm guessing that is the case, and you can read about it (including
incorporate it back in) at

I have recently upgraded to Nessus 3.0.5 with NessusClient 1.0.2
running on Fedora Core 5. I have noticed that there is no longer an option
for the Nessus port scanner under the General options. Has this
legitimately been removed?

        Thanks,
