Hi all,
Is there a linux GUI available for nessus3?
Can I use older version of GUI client to connect to nessus3 server?

Hello Sohail, first off you need to be a Direct Feed customer or security center implemented, depending on the nessus client you use if its

Nessus 3 you would start a scan task then when your configuring a policy you will see a Compliance tab that allows you to add the audit file.

Nessus WX client you would go to you would go to plugins configure plugins then windows compliance checks to add the audit file.

Hope this helps,

Subject: file perms

I've attached a audit file that checks for file perms as outlined in
APPENDIX A. REQUIRED FILE PERMISSIONS, WINDOWS 2003/XP/2000
ADDENDUM Version 5, Release 1, developed by disa for dod. I don't know
if there is one already, but I figured since I have one I'll share. I
would like add a disc down the road, I've tested it and it seams to
work, I look forward to any feedback.
