Thanks, Ron. My problems were that I hadn't added a user, and I also needed to change the Scan Server Configuration to NOT use the loopback IP address. Both of these problems were addressed using programs I found in the 'Tenable Network Security' program list.

Most likely you need to open up the port Nessus is listening on the Windows server and create a user account.
