The Nessus client keeps the scans in local files. The client does not
have a facility to share this data over the network

Nessus does not have this sort of facility.

The Security Center product does allow remote users to pull CSV style
text data for a particular host and allows you to pull data with filters
such as severity levels, specific IDs and so on.

Tenable is focusing on the Nessus Client software as the cross-platform
standard for Nessus users moving forward. It will be the default client
on all Windows Nessus versions starting in version 3.2 and is currently
the default client for all Mac OS X users.

Could you tell us more about what you are trying to do? Is this JAVA
program an open source project, a new Nessus Client, .etc? Maybe it
would be easier if you had users manually submit their .nessus scan
results to your solution.
