Several examples --

If you have an application like the Security Center, it will automatically
load balance a scan job across multiple scanners.

If your scan targets are in different network segments, you can deploy scanners
for those networks and then launch scans just for them.

You might also use one scanner for just network discovery, OS identification
and profiling, and then a different scanner to perform credentialed audits of
key servers.

Do you mean we assign multiple scanners for (say 1000 out of 4000) a number of
hosts and another for (say next 1000 out of 4000) a number of hosts.....like 
this?

If you were doing it manually, then this would work. When load balanced by
something like the Security Center, the split is dynamic. If one Nessus scanner
can finish its audit faster than another one, the Security Center will give it
more scan jobs.
