Is their one for the windows platform?  
 
The parser is part of the compliance check plugin, so if you are running
Nessus on Windows you should use nasl.exe 
 
 But, it looks like the .audit file does not complete when using the .audit
file creator tool.  
 
Did you create the .audit files with i2a tool?, if yes then the tool only
works with .inf files and not .ini files.
 
If you plan on auditing more than password policy compliance, I would
encourage you to take a look at .audit files that have already been
published on Tenable portal, which includes best practice guidelines from
CIS, FDCC, NIST etc...

is there a tool to validate audit files that you've constructed? In my case,
i've taken the xp CIS one from the website and removed some things that we
don't check for and fear that i might have horked up my formatting :)
