Yes - one of the things I'm still hoping to do is to restructure the Host Reseources code to follow your 'data_access/mib_interface' framework, and use this to re-implement both the 'host' and 'ucd-snmp' device-related mibgroups. (And possibly to develop new Net-SNMP versions of these private MIBs, where experience has shown the need). This will certainly use the new v5 API - quite possibly the 'netsnmp_container' helper. But increasing the constant is a quick-n-dirty fix that should solve Bruce's immediate problem.
