Yes. I'm building the CVS version if I'm not mistaken. At least I used 
the "checkout -r V5-1-patches" command to cvs. But I'm not sure that
really worked.

Are you guys really patching old software? If not, why can't the latest 
branch be the default in CVS checkout?

Then I'd suggest renaming it to the less confusing MSVC directory.
