Hi Alex, I am getting the same errors using snmpconf -i or snmpconf -h.
The perl version I am using is: This is perl, version 5.005_03 built for MSWin32-x86
Although it probably shouldn't matter, it looks like an old version of Perl. Can you try 5.8.6 or 5.6.1 from ActiveState?

Is the version you are using from ActiveState? It should say in the perl -v output.

Also, I do not see a rocommunity in the snmpd.conf file.
You will once you get snmpconf working. :)
You can also configure snmpd.conf manually. The snmpd.conf man page is located here:

It is also in the 'Net-SNMP Help' Windows help file assuming you installed Net-SNMP using the binary installer.
The minimum you would need to allow read-only SNMP v1/v2 access is:
# rocommunity: a SNMPv1/SNMPv2c read-only access community name # arguments: community [default|hostname|network/bits] [oid]
rocommunity public
setserialno 12151 engineBoots 1 oldEngineID 0x80001f8880467c000005fb4a42
Did you install Net-SNMP using the binary installer?
