You'll learn not to make comments like that when I'm in earshot! :-)
Suggestions as follows:
snmp.conf:
clientaddr:
open parenthesis is not closed "(see snmpcmd(1)"
The sentence "By default..." doesn't really make sense. Drop it.
defSecurityModel:
I'd describe "usm" as "the only widely used SNMPv3 security model"
(rather than the "only standardized" one). Or else drop this
clause completely, and just have
The SNMP security model to use. (defaults to "usm")
reverseEncodeBER:
This actually defaults to true, so would need to be explicitly
turned off. Though I'd be tempted to regard this directive as
a "Don't you worry your pretty little head about this" one,
and not document it at all.
snmpd.conf:
setSerialNo:
Move to 'persist.conf(5)'
diskio:
Improve the description, or drop.
snmpcmd:
Are you sure about that first change?
Surely the .BI should be applied to the full option string?
"Overrides .... tokenS [plural] respectively..."
Just before this change: it's -> its
"Set the privacy protocol (DES or AES) used for ....
Overrides the defPrivType ....
+ Only valid if OpenSSL is available."
[probably clearer what is meant]
[I know these last two aren't yours - but we might as well
fix them at the same time!]
