A context can be used to allow an agent to return different answers for the
same object, depending on the context. For example, if an agent is located in
new york, and gets a query like:

        snmpget currentTime.0

The answer might be "3:00 pm".  But a query like

        snmpget -n Paris currentTime.0

would get an answer of "9:00 pm".

It's not part of SNMPv1, since it wasn't defined until SNMPv3. But, you can
implement the MIB in net-snmp with contexts, and use unique community strings
to map to a context. There is more information here:
