Everything between the snmp_sess_init and snmp_close is ok.

Can you use a packet sniffer to watch the packet flows? When it's talking to
the first computer and you are closing/reopening the session, is it doing
engineId discovery each time? (ie how many packets go out/come back, 2 or 4?)

What about after the changeover occurs?
