The --disable-agent call *should* disable the building of the agent
and should allow for the libsnmp and applications to be built without
it.  Having said that, it's not tested frequently and certainly could
be broken currently.  Exact error messages you're seeing would
probably be helpful.

It means that the configure script tried to determine what IPv6 stack
you have on your system but failed to figure it out.  If you really do
have an IPv6 stack in place, you will probably have to edit
configure.in and possibly the code in the snmplib directory to get it
to work with your stack.
