defaultMonitors will likely still work unless you've broke the syntax
of the monitor command.  defaultMonitors actually is a wrapper around
multiple "monitors" token calls.

No no no...  I understood it wasn't fully complete.  I think my
assumption was that since you wanted it to be the replacement for 5.3
that it would be closer so you could achieve that.  However, I suspect
you can anyway.
