I vote for #2. The main code in pre2 builds fine with Cygwin but the
Trapreceiver Perl module does not compile. I would like to fix this
before rc1 if possbile, but I will not be able to look at it until the
weekend.
Given that snmpwalking a 5.2.2.pre3 agent running on x86_64 results in a
DoS (eats cpu), #2 seems to be the only option. That still calls for us
to fix that bug (#1313802, dup of #1294038).
