Can this be applied to the patches branches (5.[12].x) as well? Wrt. the
arguing on bug fix vs. new feature I'd tend to consider it a case of
making the protocol implementation more complete and not really a cool
new net-snmnp feature. Risk is low. Any other comments/votes?
