Well,

I think that 5.2.2 is looking less and less useful to the end user
which makes me more and more wary of releasing it.  We should always
be thinking of the people on the other end when releasing software and
do what's likely the best for them (not us).  That's the whole reason
we've been trying to both release software faster, as well as release
software which is more stable and less prone to last-minute-mistakes.

But given that embedded perl is broken currently and because
snmpnetstat would have to be non-existent in it, I'm thinking that we
shouldn't release 5.2.2 as is.  We should fix both of these problems
(it sounds like Dave is really close, and we have a patch for perl)
then release another RC or even two in order to do what's right for
the end user.  Maybe it's just me, but releasing a software package
with a note that says "oh, and this is broken and this piece is
completely removed" doesn't give me warm fuzzies.
