I have the following problem:
Problem: the Snmp trap isn´t generate from Sun Netra 240´s machines:
Scenario: Sun Netra 240, Solaris 9, Solaris 9 patches recommended, 4
(four) interfaces Gigabit Ethernet(Bge)
Test: Plug/Unplugged the ethernet cable
workaround: in the Solaris console I can see the message of Link Up/Down.
I would like to know if the problem is with Hardware (Sun machine), Solaris
or Net-SNMP.
How can I debug the Link Up/Down trap failure ??
