But you're *not* sending it in that format.
All of the OIDs will be transmitted as numeric OIDs (and binary values at that).
Typically no more than eight or ten bytes in size.
Remember that it's the *depth* of the OID nesting that controls the size of
the OID - not the length of the label associated with it.
I wouldn't have thought the example you provide would give 'snmptrap'
any problems whatsoever. Have you actually tried sending this as a trap?
