I remember quite a few occasions where I couldn't change things in configure.in the right way, just because 2.59 didn't support it. But I can only name two from the top of my head: 1) fix hard-coded calls to sed: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=37096270 2) AC_PROG_GREP (finds a usable grep if available to fix issues with AIX grep and friends) +Thomas -- Thomas Anders (thomas.anders at blue-cable.de) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
