I am trying to compile the NetSNMP v5.4 code for Linux. I plan on starting the
snmpd master agent and then starting a subagent to handle my specific
OC-STB-HOST-MIB mib file. Is it recommended to use the
"--with-out-mib-modules" option to indicate that NetSNMP should not be built
with certain MIBs which it supports internally? I am not sure what NetSNMP
requries to build so I am not sure if I should omit certain stuff or not.
Performing "./configure --help" indicates some default MIB modules which are
compiled into the agent which can eb removed, I am just not sure if I should
remove any of them. Not sure what those MIB modules do.
