Firstly, I would suggest that you start again with a completely
clean installation of the source RPM. Remove the old spec file,
and all the sources. Then install the source RPM, export
STRIP=true, and rebuild.
If it still fails, please post the configure incantation that
is issued early on in the rpmbuild process.
(You may find it useful to run
rpmbuild .... 2>&1 | tee net-snmp-build.log
to catch the output of the build)
