How?
Did you check that the Sun agent was not running before starting the
Net-SNMP agent?
Did you check that the Net-SNMP agent had started successfully?

Yes - it should be possible to have these two installed in parallel.
But you should only have one agent running at any one time.
And it sounds as if you've still got the Sun agent running.

Our problem is that you've given very little detail about exactly what
you have done. Exact commands are better than general statements.
You also haven't said anything about how you have configured the
Net-SNMP agent - what you've put in the config file or where this file is.
Please try looking through the FAQ, which include a number of entries
that might be relevant to your problems.
