Hey all, Here's my problem. I'm working with a Nagios installation on Fedora 8 (Werewolf), for which I need net-snmp. Net-snmp runs at least two or three commands, which I was called in to fix.
I tried to restart the snmpd service, thinking that might be the issue, and I get this: snmpd: symbol lookup error: snmpd: undefined symbol: netsnmp_running So I tried starting/restarting other net-snmp services. Same error, every net-snmp service available. It won't run. Something's missing from the core architecture. I reconfigured, make, and make install'd it to no avail. The recent configure/make is the most recent version, 5.4.2.1, installed from source. Anyone have any ideas? I came up dry on Google and the mailing list archives. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-coders mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-coders
