No - that's exactly what I wanted.
You're right - it's not sufficient to pin down the problem precisely,
but it does at least identify which of the two possible implementations
we need to look at.
Next - please run the command
strings agent/mibgroup/mibII/ip.o | grep "IP Group"
What output do you see?
Also, what does:
grep STAT include/net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h | grep IP
show?
