Hi! As i understan it, openmanager is a large administation suite (correct me if am wrong). I have a large amount of servers running varius linux/unix OS, and whud like to monitor the thermal, fan and Hardwarelog on them, without having a lot of administrationfunktions (that we dont use). I havent realy found any good information on what the open manager containes exactly, but i think its a bit overkill for the things i want to do. BR //Thomas

Whud be rely nice to hear some feadback on this :-) Hello Thomas, Have you already read the information on the following wiki page: http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Repository/hardware <http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Repository> ? It contains instructions on how to install the OpenManage Server Administrator software on Linux servers. Bart.
