I've looked previously at getting some of Dells bits running under BSDs
without success; although it was some considerable time ago now.
From what I recall the dependencies to get the subagent working were
extensive and only available as Linux binaries, which meant any solution
was going to be running under binary compatibility. Furthermore, I
couldn't actually get a couple of their base packages to run on BSD at
the time.
It's possible that things have changed since the last time I looked at
this, but being that all our systems are BSD on Dell, we'd really like
to see this possible. However if it requires a more complex
installation and configuration tree than the primary installation on the
server, we'll probably give it a miss. ;-)
