The patch you posted will cause Net-SNMP to stop working on Windows XP and
before when compiled with Windows 2008 or later. snmpd.exe won't even start.

Regarding making an IPv6-enabled build working on Windows, I prefer that the
ntop/pton-related patches from the trunk would be backported to older
branches.
