Fair enough.
I don't have immediate access to anything earlier than Windows 7
so it's difficult for me to check/fix that.

The patch that I proposed was based on the ntop/pton patches from trunk.
Or at least, that was my intention, but I'm more than willing to accept that I
screwed it up. Windows is not my area of expertise - I've only been working
on this because nobody else seemed to be.
Feel free to propose a more suitable patch.
It would be useful if you could offer versions for both 5.4.x and 5.2.x
I've given up on the idea of trying to get rc3 out tomorrow, so there's no rush
on this. Absolutely nothing is going to happen for the next week!
